AL-KHOBAR – A Filipino domestic worker who was repeatedly raped by her employer just wants to come home and be reunited with her family.

“Anna,” not her real name, said she was sexually abused by her employer in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia for three months.

"Ni-rape po ako ng amo ko. Bale ginahasa niya po ako four times sa isang linggo po lagi-lagi niya po ako ginaganon," Anna said.

The 28-year-old victim arrived in Al-Khobar on November 2008. Her employer started abusing her the following month until February 2009.

The rape only stopped when she ran away from her employer in February. She tried to hide for almost eight months before deciding to approach the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) for help last October 12.

She appealed for her immediate repatriation to be with her husband and children in the Philippines who were affected by typhoon Ondoy in Marikina City.

Meanwhile, labor attache Des Dicang said they are doing everything to ensure the safety of Anna and some 380,000 OFWs in  eastern Saudi. Report from Florante Catanus, ABS-CBN Middle East News Bureau, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia
