[11]MANILA, Philippines – President Aquino is set to welcome overseas Filipino workers coming home for the holidays.
Aquino will be accompanied by officials from the Department of Labor and Employment and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration in welcoming returning OFWs at the Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
OFWs will be greeted with Christmas carols, photo-ops and a handshake with President Aquino.
Cash gifts and other prizes will also be given away to lucky OFWs.
