MANILA, Philippines -- Child actor Zaijan Jaranilla is set to star in a series of episodes of ABS-CBN's top-rating fantasy anthology "Wansapanataym."
After child star Xyriel Manabat, the 11-year-old Jaranilla takes his turn in top-billing consecutive special episodes of "Wansapanataym" starting January 5.
Known for his roles in "May Bukas Pa" and "Lorenzo's Time," Jaranilla will portray a boy who is fond of playing with spiders in his first "Wansapanataym" offering.
As Buboy, Jaranilla's transformation into a human spider has him realizing his maltreatment of insects and animals.
Joining the child actor this Saturday in "Gagam-Buboy" are Yayo Aguila, John Judelei Junio, and Gerald Pesigan.
