MANILA, Philippines - Award-winning broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna celebrated his birthday on the ABS-CBN morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" on Wednesday.
Taberna, one of the show's hosts, also shared his simple birthday wishes, which include having a baby boy.
"Puro babae kasi, [baby boy] gusto ko," said the 38-year-old broadcast journalist, who is happily married and has two daughters.
"Pare-pareho ang wish natin. Ako, ang gusto ko ay mas maraming oras sa pamilya... Sana ay madagdagan ng isa ang aking pamilya, 'yun talaga," he added. "Gusto ko ring makakain ng marami pero hindi nga pwede dahil sa may diabetes ako. Gusto kong kumain ng ice cream, ng ganito [matamis], pero napakaswerte ko talaga."
Aside from being part of "Umagang Kay Ganda", Taberna also co-anchors the radio program "Dos Por Dos" on DZMM.
His other shows include "Iba-balita ni Anthony Taberna" and "Mano Mano ni Anthony Taberna" on Studio 23, and "XXX" and "Ako ang Simula" on ABS-CBN.
