[11]MANILA – Expect a star-studded campaign season with the increasing number of celebrities endorsing political candidates.

Senator Koko Pimentel, for one, has disclosed that he will recruit Cristine Reyes for his campaign.
At his birthday celebration last Sunday in a children's charity house in Pasay City, Pimentel said Reyes can join him in his provincial sorties.
Last December, the senator chose the sexy actress as his No. 1 choice in response to media questions who he would prefer to date given his current status.
Pimentel is estranged from his wife, former beauty queen Jewel Lobaton.
In a subsequent interview at her launch as endorser of Dr. Manny Calayan, Reyes said she was flattered to be selected by the senator.
Reyes is currently unattached after confirming her break-up with actor Rayver Cruz just last week.
Other senatorial aspirants who hooked up with celebrities for casual and official endorsements include Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Heart Evangelista; Sonny Angara and Sarah Geronimo; and Miguel Zubiri and Rico Blanco as well as Chris Tiu.
Other candidates will announce their stellar support in the run up to the campaign season next month.
