Rerouting set for Sto. Niño procession in Pasay [1]

MANILA, Philippines – Motorists are advised to avoid Roxas Blvd. from Gil Puyat Ave. until the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex on Sunday to give way to the Grand Sto. Niño procession.

Pasay Mayor Antonio Calixto said a part of Roxas Blvd. will be closed as early as 10 a.m. to give way to the procession, which will start at 2 p.m.

More than 300 floats are expected to participate in the procession.

Heavy traffic is expected in the area on Sunday.

Motorists coming from Gil Puyat Ave. are advised to take a left turn on Roxas Blvd. and use the Diosdado Macapagal Blvd to get to their destination. -- Report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
