Colton Dixon likes shopping in Greenhills [1]

MANILA, Philippines – “American Idol” Season 11 finalist Colton Dixon returned to Manila to join fellow “Idol” Jessica Sanchez for their Valentine's Day concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

Dixon said he is excited to be back in the country after enjoying his visit to Manila during the "American Idol" concert tour last year.

“I love the Philippines and I appreciate the support that I have here. Not in a million years would I have thought that. I'm having a good time. I'm just so thankful,” he said.

He recalled having a fun time exploring the shops in Greenhills, where he bought some luggage.

But more than the shopping, Dixon said he is looking forward to performing for the Filipinos, who have supported his music.

He pointed out that the top two cities where he has the biggest fanbase, based on his Facebook account, are in the Philippines.

“We were looking at my Facebook profile stats, and the top two cities were here in the Philippines. The third was my hometown in Tennessee. I remember looking at it and saying 'That's crazy. How weird is that?’ It's so awesome,” he said.

To show his appreciation, he promises a grand show for their fans on Thursday.

“I really hope to see you there. Thank you so much for the support here. It really blows both our minds. I appreciate that and I hope to see you tomorrow and we'll have a party,” he said. – Report from Ginger Conejero, ABS-CBN News
