MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Counter Intelligence Division raided Tuesday night a house in Barangay Concepcion Dos, Marikina City, which is allegedly being used as a shabu laboratory.

Authorities said the raid also led to the arrest of a Chinese man, identified as Chao Min Lin.

The NBI raided the home along Long Horn Street to arrest a certain David Chua, but they failed to locate the suspect.

NBI agents had been monitoring activities at the house for 2 months due to suspicions of illegal drug activity.

They recovered 2 plastic bags containing a substance suspected to be shabu. They also found paraphernalia believed to be used in shabu production, such as vacuum packing machine, weighing scale, plastic bags and stirring tube. -- Report from Zandro Ochona, dzMM
