MANILA – Robert Blair Carabuena, the motorist who is facing charges for assaulting a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic enforcer, posted bail at a Quezon City court on Wednesday.

Carabuena posted bail of P24,000 for his provisional liberty.

Judge Juris Dilinila-Callanta of the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 42 had ordered the arrest of Carabuena after he and lawyer failed to appear in the arraignment last week.

Callanta also doubled the bail, which was originally set at P12,000.

The hearing on Carabuena’s motion to lift the arrest warrant is scheduled on Friday. -- Report from Robert Mano, dzMM
