[11]MANILA, Philippines – A Nissan Serena van caught fire at the southbound lane of the South Super Highway along Estrella Street, Barangay Bangkal in Makati City on Friday afternoon.
Sr. Fire Officer 4 Urbano Binasbas said the vehicle’s engine was already engulfed in fire when they arrived at the scene.
The van’s female driver was not hurt in the incident.
Authorities suspect that faulty electrical wiring of the car battery caused the fire.
