Two-month old baby needs help for hydrocephalus
by Kristine Addatu, ABS-CBN Baguio
Two-year-old Abner Jay Atiw has been diagnosed as having congenital hydrocephalus.
The boy's doctor said that Baby Jay should undergo immediate treatment. But his parents suffer from financial problems, which is why Baby Jay has not been treated.
Jay's father, Mang Celestino works as a barangay bookeeper, while his mother Joselyn works as a substitute teacher.
Their income is not enough to spend for the baby's medical treatment or needs.
Due to extreme poverty, Jay's parents are begging for help so they could bring the baby to the hospital for further medication.
"Please, help my baby fight this disease. My wife and I don't have much money to buy some medicine for him," appealed Mang Celestino.
Mang Celestino wishes to thank in advance, those people who could offer them any help.
