The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday announced that 1,514 out of 4,174 examinees passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering earlier this month.

The results of the examinations were released in three working days after the examinations, the PRC said.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Thursday, November 6, but not later than November 18, 2008.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
1. Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyunal
2. Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
3. Two pieces passport-sized picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
4. One piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
5. Two sets of metered documentary stamps
6. One short brown envelope with name and profession

Those who will register will also have to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2008-2011. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremonies will be held before the board in Manila on Sunday, November 23 at 1:30 p.m. at the Reception Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC); in Cebu on Saturday, November 29, at 1 p.m. at the Casino Español de Cebu; and in Davao on Friday, December 5, and Cagayan de Oro on Sunday, December 14.

Registration for membership with the Institute of Electronics and Communications Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) will start on November 6.
