Security Bank expands branch network
MANILA, Philippines - Security Bank Corp. expanded its branch network in 2012, adding 72 branches nationwide. This brought its total branches to 208, including both the main bank and Security Bank Savings (SBS).
Security Bank opened 34 new branches for its main branch, mostly in Metro Manila. This includes 24 branches in formerly restricted areas of Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, San Juan and Quezon City. This is part of 50 new licenses granted to Security Bank by the Monetary Board.
Now, SBC and its savings bank have 126 branches in Metro Manila.
SBC also strengthened its network in the provinces, opening 4 branches in Luzon, bringing the total to 52.
In the Visayas, SBC added new branches in Roxas City in Capiz and Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu to bring the total to 16.
SBC opened two branches in Davao and Zamboanga, which brought the total to 14 branches in Mindanao.
