Pacquiao, Mayweather camps fail to settle issues
But mediation will continue

MANILA, Philippines -- The camps of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. failed to resolve their differences after 9 hours of talks on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).
An ESPN.com report said Top Rank's Bob Arum and Todd duBoef, accompanied by their lawyers, met with Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer, Oscar De La Hoya and their legal team.
They spent the day with retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein in an effort to save the March 13 mega-buck fight.
Also present during the meeting was Mayweather’s manager Al Haymon.
"Mediation is still ongoing," one of Top Rank's lawyers told ESPN.
Arum and DuBoef would not comment about the details of the meeting owing to Weinstein’s gag order on all parties.
It is unclear if the talks will resume on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).
Weinstein also mediated a June 2007 settlement between Top Rank and Golden Boy that involved a legal battle over ownership of the promotional rights to Pacquiao.
Public apology
Arum earlier said the only way the negotiations will push through is if the other side drops its demands for random blood-testing and makes a public apology for implying that Pacquiao is taking illegal performance-enhancing drugs.
"Absolutely, [we expect apology] from every single one of them," Arum said. "Everybody."
Arum said he could not say if mediation will save the March 13 fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
He also declined to answer if Pacquiao's lawsuit against the Mayweathers and Golden Boy Promotions would be discussed in the meeting.
Pacquiao, through his lawyer Daniel Petrocelli, filed a lawsuit last week seeking $75,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.
The negotiations hit the wall after Mayweather’s camp demanded Pacquiao undergo an Olympic-style drug testing before the fight.
The 7-time world champion thumbed down the demand and filed charges against the Mayweathers and Golden Boy Promotions for insinuating that he was using performance-enhancing drugs.

This is one of the worst
This is one of the worst things that happened to boxing... UFC is better because no one chooses his foe.
RE: Petition against Mayweather
A petition for AT&T.. Wow! This is one of the dumbest thing I've ever encountered and completely pointless. Floyd does not have a long standing relationship with AT&T. He did one stupid 30 sec commercial for AT&T a while back, and they don't even show that commercial anymore. I haven't seen it over 6 months.
What exactly is this going to do? To stop Floyd's AT&T commercial from airing? It already has stopped airing! What a bunch of morons with nothing better to do. These people need to get out of their parent's house and do something more constructive.
Petition against Mayweather
Let's all show our displeasure at the dirty tricks of Mayweather by signing the global petition against him here:

Manny don't give Blood
Manny don't give in, don't let MouthWeather bully you, Nevada Boxing Commission made the rules and not MouthWeather camp, he needs this fight more than you. Don't give in, stand your ground just like when you are in the ring. Teach those blabber mouth group a lesson. More Power to you Manny Pacman.
RE: Yuri Foreman vs Pacman
And you talk like Manny will just run over this guy. The middleweights is no place for Manny to be figthing in. Even Roach said he'd rather Manny fight Marquez for the third time than Foreman. I would rather see Manny fight Marquez and finally settle the score once and for all. Actually, I would rather see Manny wait for Mosley or Berto and unify the welterweight division.
8th title? who gives a $hit! we live in an age of watered down boxing divisions. There's 16 divisions compared to 7 back in the glory days of boxing. And each division have 2-3 champions (super, regular, interim). The boxing community doesn't lookup those championships in high regards as they used to. It's not about championships, it's about boxers fighting the best whether there's a belt on the line or not.
So what if Manny wins an 8th title? If he does, then he'll win one against the weakest champion in the division and no one in the boxing community would really respect that much. If he's going to fight in the Jr. Middleweight, then he might as well fight the best in that division and that would be Sergio Martinez and Paul Williams.
Middleweight fighters at an average are 6 ft tall and walks around at 165-175 lbs.
Same Old Floyd Mayweather
The song remains the same, Floyd Mayweather has made Boxing Sad News again, he just needed a little attention and money, maybe he has got enough so I think this fight was really never meant to be in the first place, it should have happened last year and did not. Floyd has been down this road before, I think he should retire now with his unbeaten record, if that is his only source of pride, then he would definitely not risk it against Manny Pacquiao. What a shame, but Floyd Mayweather's got no shame. He should retire because no one will be interested to see him fight for ten million dollars more against a mediocre opponent. Maybe he should take on Cotto now for Cotto's final fight, now that is the only fight worth it for him or a match with Golden Boy's Shane Mosley, or maybe Antonio Margarito. These are the fights waiting for him which will make sense, but other than these it's bust at the box office for sure. Pacquiao definely has few options left too but then he can also retire now, if there are no more challenges. Floyd certainly was not up to the challenge as other opponents of Manny before him. Seemed he just scared of getting beaten up just like the last four opponents of Manny, that will certainly weaken the knees of a lesser opponent and no doubt Floyd experienced this after watching Manny's fights, I know his father did, that's why he cautioned Floyd not to fight Manny, and rightfully so, he's got no power to offer Manny except his avoiding punches, which certainly does not work with Manny.
Yuri Foreman vs Pacman
I hope the fight on March 13 will be Yuri Foreman vs Pacman. Not with Malignaggi, Pacquiao will gain nothing with Malignaggi. Although Yuri is a boring fighter at least he will gain 8th division champion belt from Yuri.
Sad News of the boxing fans
This is a sad news for all the boxing fans out there. They really wanted to see this fight. But I guess they still have a small hope with the negotiation still in progress and may resume tomorrow.
