MANILA, Philippines – Vitor Belfort remained unperturbed over talks of a possible middleweight title clash between Michael Bisping and UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva.

Belfort is fighting Bisping this weekend in UFC on FOX, and many see the bout as a formalization of Bisping’s title shot against Silva.

“I don’t want to even talk about that. It’s none of my business,” said Belfort in ESPN

Belfort, who earned the nickname “Phenom” after winning the UFC 12 heavyweight tournament in 1997 at 19, said fighting is his job and he leaves everything else to UFC.

“Pick fights, decide fights -- the UFC has a puzzle. I’m part of that puzzle and I’m doing my part. I’m an employee. My job is to fight and be honorable to the organization. I’m very honorable. I help the organization when they need me. If I don’t trust my promoter, why am I fighting for him? Dana [White] knows what he’s doing, so I’m happy,” the 35-year-old Brazilian said.

Against Bisping, he said he expects a terrific fight.

He even calls the trash-talking Briton “honorable” for accepting the bout.

“I’m looking for a great matchup, first of all. I think Michael is a great warrior. He’s one of the fighters who never picks his opponent. He’ll fight anyone they put in front of him. He’s very honorable to accept this challenge,” he said.

Earlier, UFC president Dana White said Bisping will be given a title shot at Silva.

Belfort, on the other hand, is unlikely to be granted a title fight because of his first- round knockout loss to Silva last year.
