Marquez to bare decision soon
MANILA, Philippines – Juan Manuel Marquez’s handler said the Mexican counter-puncher is expected to soon bare his future plans after his sensational sixth round knockout win over Manny Pacquiao last December.
Zanfer Promotions, Fernando Beltran, who handles Marquez’s fights, said the Mexican is expected to announce if he’ll continue fighting or retire.
Beltran told Boxing Scene that if Marquez decides to fight, he’ll be set for an April bout and a possible fifth clash against Pacquiao on September 14.

"Marquez is the one who will decide whether he fights,” Beltran said of Marquez's possible return in April.
“We are thinking about serious opponents, someone who would make for a good fight. Jessie Vargas and Vyacheslav Senchenko have been mentioned [for us and] for Pacquiao, and perhaps they will allow us to choose [the opponent] first," Beltran said.
