MANILA, Philippines – Another friendly game for charity.

The Azkals United will face third-tier South Korean club Icheon Citizen this coming Saturday for the benefit of victims of tropical storm Sendong.

The charity game, which aims to raise funds for Sendong victims, will take place at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.

ABS-CBN’s Studio 23 will air the game live at 6 p.m.

The game will give Philippine-based Koreans an opportunity to root for their countrymen and, in the process, help those in need.

"Players from both the Azkals and Korea will be making appearances and appeals to the Filipino and Korean communities to rise up and support the cause," the organizers said.

The Azkals United has had a friendly game against third-division Spanish team CF Internacional de Madrid (CFIM) last January 7.

The game, titled “Dili Kamo Nag-iisa,” raised at least P1.5 million for the victims of Sendong.

Philippine Football Federation (PFF) President Mariano “Nonong” Araneta hopes they will duplicate the same success in the friendly against Icheon.

He said the more charity games they could hold, the more opportunity local football gets in helping the needy.

“The more we have games here, the more we can raise funds," said Araneta.

Members of Icheon Citizen FC are due to arrive in Manila on Friday.

The Korean squad is made up of the following players:

Goalkeepers: 1 - Hwang Sae Ha, 31 Jin Jae Young

Defenders: 13 - Kim Kyung Hwan, 19 - Jeong Jun Ho, 20 - Ko Kyung Joon, 33 Go Hyun Bok, 37 Kwon Hyuk Tae

Midfielders: 8 - Lim Hyun Woo, 9 - Moon Joo Won, 18 - Park Jin Young, 26 - Ko Jung Han

Forwards: 10 - Lee Jin Young, 11 - Yang Ji Hoon, 12 - Ko Sung In, 14 - Park Chun Sin, 16 - Kim Seung Cheol, 32 - Bin Tae Kwan
