MANILA, Philippines -- Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) demolished Marikina Polytechnic College, 65-63, at the start of the 25th State Colleges and Universities Athletics Association-National Capital Region men's basketball at the PhilSCA Basketball Court.

No less than PhilSCA president Dr. Bernard R. Ramirez and PhilSCA Sports unit department head Gigi Abalos-Manaog witnessed the matches.

Joining them were PUP president Dr. Emmanuel C. De Guzman, vice president for research Dr. Manuel M. Muhi and vice president branches head Dr. Joseph Mercado and RTU President Dr. Jesus Torres.

"I just told them to play basketball," said Ramirez. "Buti naman at nanalo," he added.

In the other game, PUP edged RTU, 56-51.

Philippine Normal University in Manila is the host school with the theme"Keeping the Solidarity Flame Alive for 25 Years and Beyond." - By Marlon Bernardino
