NEW YORK - Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets was fined $35,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for actions surrounding his ejection from a 104-93 home victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

The incident took place with 2:27 remaining in the second quarter. Martin argued with officials over a foul call against teammate J.R. Smith.

The Nuggets were already playing without leading scorer Carmelo Anthony, who was out with an ankle injury.
