MANILA, Philippines – Middleweight king Anderson “The Spider” Silva will likely fight fellow champions Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre before retiring, according to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, White said super-fights with both light-heavyweight champion Jones and welterweight champion St-Pierre were “both likely to happen” for Silva.

“The great thing about Anderson Silva is he falls right in the middle,” White told Jon Wertheim. “He’s 185 (pounds), GSP is 170, Jones is 205.”

“Silva is the best ever, and he’s right in the middle. He can fight both,” he said.

Silva has lobbied for a fight against St-Pierre in what will likely be one of the biggest fights in UFC history. The “Spider,” however, is not too keen about a fight with Jones, citing mutual respect.

But White believes that he can get the Brazilian legend to fight both men. “Yeah. Before he retires, he will fight both. Probably,” he said.

White revealed that he plans to have a meeting with Silva and UFC owner Lorezo Fertitta about the champion’s future.

“This won’t be a one-hour conversation. This will be an all-day affair,” he said.
