MANILA, Philippines – Hulking mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Alistair Overeem claims he’ll have an easy time beating Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in UFC 156 this coming Saturday (Sunday in Manila).

The 6-foot-5 Dutch kickboxer said he’s better than Silva in every aspect of the fight game.

“I know I'm a better fighter... the fight will probably end in one or two rounds. I'm gonna raise my hands after and he just gonna be a number on my list. A statistic,” said Overeem in a UFC promotional video.

Overeem said he has the advantage over Brazil’s Silva when it comes to stand up action.

He added that the Brazilian giant also has nowhere to go when the fight goes to the ground.

“I'm better in stand up, I'm better in the ground,” said Overeem. “I have more knockout wins, more submission wins, I'm better in every aspect. and I'm gonna show that.”

The Overeem-Silva fight will be on the undercard of UFC 156 which headlines the Jose Aldo-Frankie Edgar featherweight title match.

UFC 156 takes place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday and will be aired locally by Balls Channel on Sunday, February 3 at 11:30 a.m. Studio 23 will be airing a same day replay of UFC 156.
