Report: Mosley, Mayweather reach terms
MANILA, Philippines – “Sugar” Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have reportedly agreed to terms to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title, according to a report by ESPN.com.
"Shane has signed. I sat with him [Friday] and we went through every provision of the contract and he signed," Mosley's attorney Judd Burstein told ESPN.com. "He is excited to move forward with the bout."
The fight is set on May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather, who has yet to sign the contract, has reportedly expressed his intent to fight Mosley, according to Ellerbe.
"All of the deal points have been agreed to," Ellerbe said. "We still have to put pen to paper, but everything is agreed to.”
Mosley reportedly agreed to undergo random blood and urine testing, as has Mayweather.
The Mosley-Mayweather fight came into fore after talks for a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight collapsed due to Floyd’s drug test demands.
Mosley was supposed to face Haiti’s Andre Berto in a title-unification match, but Berto was forced to pull out after some of his family members were killed in the earthquake in Haiti.

At long last
After a much awaited contract signing. Floyd has signed it...
The "Chicken" Gayweather
Unless these two stooges steps into the ring, I still doubt Gayweather will be signing the contract. At these point in time, he is contemplating on "another" scheme to backout of his fight with Shane, like what he has been doing in the past!

I'm with you bro... They should've fought back during their lightweight or jr welterweight days. But doesn't matter anymore cause it's happening finally.
Man, I'm pretty psyched about this fight happening finally.
I live in Vegas so I'm also thinking about watching it live. Would have to be fast before those ticket scalpers snatches up those tickets.
I like Mosley too. And yes, you're right it'll be a holy day in boxing indeed. I would pay to watch Shane f*** mayweather up in the ring. I think that's why he has a good PPV record because people pay to see him lose not because they want to see him win. Obviously he's proven everyone wrong so far, but come May 1 it'll be a different story.
I got Sugar Shane by KO 10 rounds.
Hell Yeah!
Finally after 10 damn years this fight is happening. The boxing community has been waiting for this fight to happen for the past decade now.
May 1 will be a holy day in boxing, the day Mayweather gets his a$s kicked by Mosley. Now I have to decide whether I'd go to Vegas and watch Mosley beat the living $h!t out of Mayweather with my own eyes or just watch it on PPV.
The winner fights Pacquiao in the summer...
Expect more ridiculous requirements
I don't believe the fight will go on. The reason why mayweather hasn't signed yet is because since Mosley has agreed to mayweather's ridiculous drug test requests, now mayweather has to come up with more ridiculous requirements to impose on Mosley to keep from fighting him.
He wants to stay visible in the sport of boxing as a legitimate contestant and that he really has come out of retirement, but he doesn't want to fight with the leading contestant, Pacman, who is in his age range. What a coward.
