MANILA, Philippines – Undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. has a shot against Filipino boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, but will probably come up short in the end.

This, according to Jeff Mayweather, the uncle of World Boxing Council welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"I give Bradley a shot," Mayweather said in an Examiner.com interview. "Bradley is a very, very solid fighter. He comes to fight and he gives you everything he's got."

But Mayweather expects Bradley to ultimately come up short, saying there is "nothing special" about the boxer.

"There's nothing that stands out, other than the fact that he's in shape," he said, adding that Bradley is not a particularly fast fighter nor a great defensive boxer.

"I wouldn't say nothing but he's just a hard worker... He's just a guy that's in condition," Mayweather said.

"I just think that he's probably going to come up short, but he's going to make Pacquiao look bad in doing so, once again."

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, has expressed his concerns about Bradley's tendency to lead with his head, saying that the boxer uses dirty tactics.

Mayweather, for his part, is concerned that if Pacquiao beats Bradley but does not look good in doing so, a potential mega-fight between Pacquiao and his nephew will "los(e) its luster."
