Pacquiao 'stupid, crazy' for refusing $40-M: Mayweather Sr.
MANILA, Philippines – The father of American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. criticized 7-division world champion Manny Pacquiao for dropping the Mayweather bout over a disagreement about Olympic-style drug testing.
In an interview, Floyd Mayweather, Sr. questioned Pacquiao's argument that he would be weakened by the blood test if it was done so close to the fight. He said Pacquiao should have considered the amount of money being offered to the two boxers before refusing the fight.
“Who wouldn’t fight for that kind of money, unless they’re dumb, stupid and crazy. I think it was $40 million, something like that. They will both get that kind of money,” Floyd Mayweather, Sr. told Bev Llorente of ABS-CBN North America News Bureau.
He added: “They’re gonna fight. They’re not gonna take much blood out of you, talking that he gonna get weak before the fight. You’re gonna get weak after he tapped that ass so that’s what he is scared about."
The controversial trainer said that the world does not care about the upcoming bout between Pacquiao and Ghanaian Joshua Clottey, which is scheduled on March 13-- the same date of the bungled Pacquiao-Mayweather fight.
He added, however, that he is not closing the door on a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout in the future.
Floyd Jr. earlier blamed Pacquiao for their fight’s collapse which was caused by their disagreement on the drug testing procedure.
The undefeated American told RadioPlanet.tv as quoted by FightHype.com: “The question that people want to know is why didn’t Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fight? It wasn’t my fault! I’m not duckin’ and dodgin’ nobody. 40 have came and 40 have came up short.”
Pacquiao already filed a defamation complaint against the Mayweathers and other members of their camp for alleging that he was taking performance-enhancing drugs.
Pacquiao is set to fight Clottey at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on March 13.
Floyd Jr., on the other hand, is scheduled to fight on May 1 against “Sugar” Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he and Pacquiao were supposed to face off. – With a report from Bev Llorente, ABS-CBN North America News Bureau

What ya say? What ya say? What ya say? What? Calm like a bomb Mr. Mayweather Sr.!!! You said that Pacquiao is stupid, i guess you should take that trash and reflect thyself. For me what Pacquiao did is right for he is not like you who's thirst and in need of that money. Manny Pacquiao already had that money or even more than a many folds of that amount since his dominating fights. Also, Manny is not scared to fight with your son because I believe and many believes that PACMAN will win if ever they get the bout soon. Pacquiao's dominating speed and stone fist will ruin the defense of an ugly charcoal Mayweather Jr. hehe.. ;))

Floyd Jr. Needs the Money More!
First of all, why is ABS CBN giving attention to this convicted drug dealer and the mastermind behind this whole drug testing mess? This is the same person who has effectively tarnished the reputation and perhaps even the legacy of Pacquiao in the eyes of American public. Giving attention to this lowlife is an insult to Pacquiao and to the Filipinos.
Secondly, people should realize that the reason why Pacquiao walked away from the $40M fight (the first time) is because he can afford to do it. Pacquiao already made $40M in 2009 and made at least $50M from his fights in the previous years. He has a multimillion dollar deal with Nike and is making millions from endorsements in the Philippines. What does Floyd have? He is still broke. So much for calling himself "filthy rich". He still owes the IRS a few million dollars. He is the one who needs the money more than Pacquiao...and he has the audacity to bully Pacquiao with this random drug testing scheme knowing Pacquiao's aversion to giving blood days before the fight. Pacquiao saw this as unfair and it is a good move for him to walk away from this first attempt to make a deal. A deal will be made eventually but for now it is good move for Pacquiao to walk away from the first attempt to make it. After all it is Floyd needs the money and he the one burdened to prove to the world that he should be #1 and not #2 pound for pound.

Damn opportunity for making big bucks so hard to come by. Those trash talk by both charcoal father and son intends to provoke Pacman Team to give their much-needed fight a go.
