'Django' tops billiards money list for February
MANILA, Philippines – Filipino pool master Francisco “Django” Bustamante is the top earning billiards player for the month of February following a solid start to his 2013 campaign.
Accroding to AZ Billiards, the 49-year-old Bustamante has already earned $38,000 in billiards winnings this year.
He has won the 2013 Derby City Classic Master of the Table ($20,000), 2013 Derby City Classic Banks Division ($10,000), and placed second in the Derby City Classic One Pocket Division ($6,000). He also placed sixth in the Derby City Classic 9-Ball Division ($2,000).
Dennis Orcollo came in second in the money list with total earnings of $22,000, while Alex Pagulayan is at third with $21,250.
Rounding up the Top 10 are No. 4 Shane Van Boening (16,350), No. 5 Corey Deuel ($13,950), No. 6 Niels Feijen ($12,550), No. 7 Johnny Archer ($10,650), No. 8 Justin Hall ($10,150), No. 9 Ga-Young Kim ($10,000) and No. 10 Shawn Putnam ($8,800).
Filipino players Ronato "Volcano" Alcano came in at No.12 with $7,950, while Warren "Warrior" Kiamco was at No. 18 with $3,750. By Marlon Bernardino
