MANILA – Alex Cabagnot is out for two weeks after the Petron Blaze player sustained an injury in a skirmish with a Barangay Ginebra player last Sunday.

Cabagnot suffered an inverted sprained right ankle during a fastbreak play with Ginebra’s Mark Caguioa, according to a report by PBA.ph’s Snow Badua.

“Wala namang punit sa tendon and walang fracture. Thank God,” said Petron’s star point guard.

Cabagnot has already missed two days of practice and is currently on crutches.

If the injury heals well, he’ll be able to rejoin the Boosters on March 1.

“Hindi ko masyado mapilit yung paa ko kasi it’s not just my foot, but I also tweaked the back part of my knee… It affected the whole leg,” he said.
