MANILA, Philippines – Most hoops fans who participated in an online poll conducted by abs-cbnNEWS.com got it right in predicting how the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup Finals would end.

The online poll showed 38% (142 votes) chose “a quick 4-0 sweep” as answer to the question: “What is your prediction of the outcome of the PBA Finals between Purefoods and Alaska?”

The Purefoods Tender Juicy swept Alaska Aces in 4 games, ending the series with an 86-76 victory in Game 4 Wednesday night.

Purefoods stormed to its 8th overall title and 5th All-Filipino crown with the scores 81-77 (Game 1), 86-85 (Game 2) and 79-78 (Game 3).

Meanwhile, the answer “4-2 finish” garnered 26% (96 votes) of the total count. Twenty-two percent (80 votes) chose the answer "4-3 end".

The choice of a "4-1 series" scored the least number of votes (52) for 14%.
