Manny charters 'Air Pacquiao' for flight to Dallas
MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao on Monday took a flight from his training base in Los Angeles, California to Dallas, Texas where his March 13 fight with Joshua Clottey will take place.
This, however, was not an ordinary flight for the 7-division champion. He chartered a 170-seater plane to take his whole entourage to Dallas.
After his last workout at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym, Pacquiao took his wife Jinkee to the airport where their chartered plane awaited.
The plane, which has a big photograph of Pacquiao on its door, carried the logo: Air Pacquiao. Even some of the items inside the plane had the logo.
The boxer even sat in the cockpit, playing “pilot” complete with uniform.
When asked why he decided to charter a plane, Pacquiao said: “Gusto ko, sama-sama lahat.” He even brought along his dog, Pacman.

Some of the local media covering the event could not help but be impressed with Pacquiao’s “new mode of transportation”.
“Grabe, dati mga kotse lang convoy…Ngayon, whole plane,” said Manila Bulletin’s Nick Giongco.
“[I’m] so happy na makasama ako dito,” said Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Roy Luarca.
Traditionally, Pacquiao takes a convoy from Los Angeles to the site where the fight takes place. However, Dallas is 1251 miles (2014 kilometers) away from Los Angeles.
Pacquiao was mobbed by the press shortly after they arrived at the Dallas Forth Worth Texas Airport at around 10 p.m. on Monday.
After a short meeting with the press, Pacquiao boarded a special utility vehicle on his way to the Gaylord Luxury Hotel where he was met by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
The boxer will take a night’s rest before starting his final training days before fight night. With a report from Dyan Castillejo, ABS-CBN News

Hey you guys quit bickering and quacking! Bear in mind "Life is too short" So Manny is just enjoying his hard-earned money to the fullest. When he dies anyway, he's not gonna bring his wealth to heaven or to hell. So it is just right to treat the PACMAN Team a great treat. Besides Manny is already matured enough and definitely knows how to handle his finances. Quit being a tax preparer, tax analyst, pretending wanna be advisers of Manny. He truly deserves his success. No need to elaborate what I wanted to say because almost all of the positive comments are posted and well-versed enough.

I personally think its a waste of money chartering a plane but hey it's his money. So, whatever! At least he's not throwing money away in Vegas strip clubs like Mayweather does. At least what Manny did by chartering a plane benefits his bloodsucking, azz kissing entourage.
I won't advice Manny to do that if I were his business adviser but I'm not. Again, it's his money and he can spend it however and whenever he wants to. I could care less about Manny's money. I don't get a piece of it. All I care about is Manny knocking Clottey out and putting a good show.
