Palace shrugs off Pacquiao's 'condom' comment
MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang on Sunday ignored boxer-lawmaker Manny Pacquiao's catchy statement against the Reproductive Health (RH) Bill.
Had his father used condom, Pacquiao said he would not have been around.
"Hindi naman 'yun 'yung issue sa RH bill... Anyway, it's in Congress already," Presidential Communications Strategy Secretary Ricky Carandang said.
The secretary said the Sarangani Congressman's statement will best matter in Congress, once the solons cast their votes whether the bill will be passed or not.
"Based on his (Pacquiao) statement, alam na natin kung saan siya boboto. Ok lang yun," he said.
Meantime, the passage of the RH bill has remained to be a controversial topic in and out of the House of Representatives.
The Catholic Church led a big rally on Friday. Joining the rally are personalities such as former Chief Justice Hilario Davide.
The lower House will again tackle the bill once sessions resume in May.

Marami mga Pilipino masipag ang problema marami din tamad.
Ayos lang kung sabihin ni Manny yun kasi masipag naman siya at kaya niya pakainin kung ilan man magiging anak. Kung marami man Pilipino marami anak aba hindi problema ni Manny yun or kung sino man politiko. Kasalanan ba nila madali maganak at mahirap magtrabaho? Mga malilibog mga tamad naman. One more thing madali lang magtype, magpost at magcriticize ng iba tao, mas madali sa maganak gaya ng mga nagcriticize kay Manny dito. Ilan kaya sa kanila kaya pasanin responsibilidad ng isang pamilya at hindi puro asa lang?

pacquiao is narrow minded. the RH bill is not all about him or his father, but for the filipino masses which will greatly affect our survival and peace of mind in the years to come.
it's about giving filipino women the correct and right information about their reproductive lives. it's also about empowering women to make the correct and informed decision about themselves.
what pacquiao's father does with his penis is not really the issue of the RH bill.

Who cares what Pacquiao says?
As far as I and some people are concerned, Pacquaio is just a good boxer, and NOTHING ELSE! What he says should concern no one -- since his brains have been clogged and clotted by all the head blows he had received in the 58-plus fights in his career.
Therefore, people -- and the media, please -- should just ignore whatever words come out of this soon-to-be-punched-out boxer!
As a congressman? Just a zilch and nada person, that's what he is!

Mag-isip ka naman muna bago mag-salita. Alam mo ba na madaling magkaroon ng maraming anak pero mahirap pakainin ang mga ito? Ano ang kinabukasan ng mga batang ito? Ikaw ay mapalad, pero gaanong karami ang nagdurusa sa kahirapan? Huwag kang masyadong nagpapaniwala sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao, di masama ang magkaroon ng maraming anak kung kaya mo silang buhayin ng mahusay.
