Pacquiao finishes Baguio training, leaves for US on Saturday
MANILA, Philippines – Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao finished his high-altitude training in Baguio City on Friday as he prepared for his US trip the following day.
Pacquiao, who is set to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against Shane Mosley on May 7, was in high spirits while doing his final workout in Baguio.
He even spent time with his fans, who patiently waited at the Cooyeesan Hotel Plaza where the boxer was billeted.
The pound-for-pound king graciously signed autographs and took time for picture taking to the delight of his fans.
After his workout, Pacquiao and his team came down to Manila to rehearse for a planned after-fight concert in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao will have another training session on Saturday morning before eventually flying to California.
According to his new official Twitter account Pacquiao will board Philippine Airlines flight PR 102 which is set to arrive at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Saturday, 8:05 p.m. (Pacific time).
