Filipino professional boxer Manny Pacquiao showed off his skills on Wednesday, stepping into the ring with his trainer Freddie Roach for a brief display for the media.

Pacquiao is heading in for a rematch against Timothy Bradley for the World Welterweight Championship next week in Las Vegas.

Bradley beat Pacquiao for the welterweight title in 2012, and this will now be Pacquiao's first fight back in the U.S. since then.

"This fight is very important to me, it's going to be a good fight and I'm excited," Pacquiao said.

He also emphasized that his training has been different this time around.

"My training is going very well and we're doing a lot of things that we haven't done in the past," Pacquiao said in his native Tagalog.

Bradley's 2012 victory over Pacquiao came after a close decision by the match's judges, stirring controversy throughout the boxing world.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, said that Pacquiao is now looking for a little revenge.

"Bradley's mouth may get him in trouble this time. Manny feels like he slapped him in the face. He thought Bradley was a good guy but his true colors came out and he's talking shit and Manny is going to make him pay for it," Roach said.

The fight will will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on HBO's Pay-Per-View on Saturday, April 12.
