Mommy D arrives in LA, will cheer for Pacquiao
LOS ANGELES, California -- Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao plans to be at ringside at the MGM Grand Arena to cheer her son when he fights to get back his belt against Timothy Bradley on April 12.
"Mommy D" arrived in Los Angeles and will be heading to Las Vegas with Pacquiao next week. His father also made the trip to support his son.
The weather is chilly in Los Angeles but Pacquiao worked up a good sweat in no time with another intense three-hour gym session.
Coach Freddie Roach is very pleased, saying Pacquiao achieved this week what he wants his pupil to bring for the rematch with Bradley.
"Bradley has never been knocked out... but if he fights the right fight, right pace three minutes of every round, I think we'll knock him out in 8 rounds," said Roach.
Pacquiao is hungry to win back his championship belt following the routine of hard training, getting enough rest and prayer.
Training will lighten up next week as the fight draws near.
