Former WBC superfeatherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez on Sunday insisted on a rematch with Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

In a press conference at the Araneta Coliseum after the successful title defense of Filipino boxers Gerry Penalosa, Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista” and AJ “Bazooka” Banal, Marquez said he is willing to wait for Pacquiao to accept his challenge.  

Marquez went to Manila to renew his challenge to Pacquiao after the Filipino claimed the WBC crown from him during their March 15 reunion match in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Mexican is also in Manila to watch the "Invasion: Philippines vs The World" boxing matches Sunday.

Marquez first dared Pacquiao to a rematch following his defeat last month.
