Ciso “Kid Terrible” Morales’ fifth-round stoppage of Korean Yoo Shin Kim during the “Invasion: Philippine vs the World” impressed executives of the Golden Boy Promotions (GBP) so much, they now want to showcase the Filipino in the US.

"He has a killer instinct, he has what it takes to be a good prize fighter, we eventually want to showcase him in the States," said GBP vice president Eric Gomez in a report posted on www.philboxing.com.

Aside from Gomez, GBP chief operating officer David Itskowitch was also present during Sunday’s “Invasion” as they witnessed Morales’ boxing prowess.
With his win against Yoo, Morales retained his WBO oriental junior featherweight title. He has a clean record of 11-0 with 7 knockouts and is now rated Number 14 in the WBO.

Morales is also sitting on a possible gold mine as he aims to become the next big thing coming out of Philippines along with Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista and AJ "Bazooka" Banal.

Morales’ manager, Kenneth Rontal, said training his ward abroad has paid dividends, strengthening their campaign to groom the boxer as the next “big thing”.

"It was a great move by our management to take him abroad for training and I have plans to bring him back to Hawaii for more training with Bobby Villaver," said Rontal.

"Our next schedule will be in May at Cebu promoted by SGG Sports Promotions, we are looking on giving Morales another test before taking him to the States," he added.
