Busy Pacquiao preaches, switches then trains
MANILA, Philippines -- A day before his training camp moved to Baguio, Manny Pacquiao still had a packed schedule Monday.
After his work out the “Pacman” took the time to go to San Pedro, Laguna to preach at the Hope Church.
Pacquiao himself prepared his PowerPoint presentation and was enthusiastic as he shared his own story of how he found his way back to the Lord.
He encouraged everyone to read the Bible and use it to guide their lives.
From San Pedro, Pacquiao proceeded to Makati where he was sworn in as the newest member of Vice President Jejomar Binay's PDP-Laban Party.
“Hindi dahilan na nag-take oath ako dito sa PDP ay kakalabanin ko na ang administrasyon. Actually sinusuportahan ko, ini-endorso ko yung ibang agencies ng government na maganda ang adhikain para sa ating mga kababayang mahirap,” Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao also said there is a reason he used his left hand for his oath taking.
“Kaliwa ang ginagamit dahil malapit sa puso. Sincere ang pagtake-oath ko, kaya ganun,” he says.
Pacquiao plans to run for governor of Saranggani in 2013.
On Tuesday, Pacquiao began his day being serenaded by the Servant of God Police Choir.
The Pacman was able to squeeze in a few more hours of training before proceeding to Baguio City.
