Nanay Dionesia opted not to watch the fight of her son Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton live at the MGM Grand Arena. As she does in the Philippines, she opted to stay home and pray.

But after the fight, she started to feel having a hard time breathing.

“Nagtalon-talon kami, yehey panalo na anak ko! Tapos nahilo ako, ‘di ako makahinga, kaya imbes na dalhin nila ako sa party ni Manny, dinala nila ako sa ospital,” she said.

That’s why she was forced to use a wheelchair for the mass for Manny the next day.

But for Nanay Dionesia, she enjoyed her first-ever vacation to the US.

She said she just had difficulty adjusting to the weather and missing breaking a sweat. And due to the cold dry air, she said her skin is also always dry.

“Wala ako pawis dito! Ang lamig kasi e, hinahanap ko talaga ‘yong pawis, at saka ang tuyo ng balat ko, o tingnan mo,” she said while showing her arm.

She also said she misses her favorite pastime, ballroom dancing

Since she arrived in the United States, she said she has not been able to exercise so she’s naturally gained some weight.

Ang hirap tuloy gumalaw,” she said.

Of all her family, she misses her other kids and grandchildren the most. To make up for it she made sure to buy pasalubong for all of them.

Now her current concern is getting mobbed at the airport upon their return to Manila.
But she looks forward to spending time with her whole family

“Jimwell, Michael, malapit na kami uwi nina Daddy at Mommy niyo, sana abangan niyo kami sa airport,” said Nanay Dionesia.
