San Miguel Beer unleashed Gabe Freeman in the final quarter to vanquish Barako Bull with a 99-92 win Friday night in the Motolite-PBA Fiesta Conference at the Ynares Center.

According to PBA.ph, Freeman scored with 33 points to go with 21 monstrous rebounds for his 11th double-double in as many games.

Freeman also got plenty of help from the locals, too, as Dondon Hontiveros scored 23 points, Ildefonso added 14, and Jonas Villanueva had seven assists.

With the win, SMB improved to a league-best 10-2 to secure a place in the best-of-seven semifinals.

Daryan Selvy registered 32 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Barako Bull.

Jojo Duncil added 18 points and Gabby Espinas had 12 for the Energy Boosters who picked up their eighth consecutive loss, matching the worst in franchise history, and 12th in 14 games overall.
