MANILA, Philippines – Filipino junior netters Francis Casey Alcantara and Jeson Patrombon will compete on the red clay at the 51st Trofeo Bonfiglio 2010 in Milan, Italy.

The Grade A tournament, which has drawn 64 players each in the Boys Singles and Girls Singles main draws, will take place on May 17 to 23.

Both Filipinos made it to the main draws.

The 18-year-old Alcantara will go against Mexican Alexis Carlos. This will be their first meeting, according to the the International Tennis Federation (ITF) website. (www.itftennis.com)

The Cagayan de Oro City native has a current combined ranking of 52 as of May 10.

Patrombon, meantime, will seek to get back at Kevin Krawietz of Germany in the opening round after being defeated by the German in January.

Krawietz defeated the 17-year-old Filipino in the first round of the Loy Yang Traralgon International in Australia, 6-1, 6-2.
