Marquez more dangerous than Pacquiao--Floyd Jr.
Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. believes that his upcoming opponent is a more dangerous ring warrior than pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather Jr. believes that the Mexican dynamite, Juan Manuel Marquez, won his last two fights with the Pacman.
Marquez, for his part, admitted that Pacquiao has improved and matured a lot in his latest three fights. However, Marquez said he's ready to wipe out the peoples’ champ after the square off with Mayweather Jr.
Both Mayweather Jr. and Marquez are already in London for the final leg of their 3-city press tour to promote their July 18 mega fight in Las Vegas dubbed as "Numero Uno or Number One".
The winner gets to fight Pacquiao sometime January next year.
ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau was able to talk one-on-one with the two best fighters in the world.
This will be the first fight of Mayweather after coming out of retirement in November 2007.
He respects a lot the fighting style of Marquez, but predicts the fight will not go the distance.
But Marquez is not moved. He believes that Mayweather Jr. might be sorry for having returned to the ring.
Marquez maintained the fight with Mayweather Jr. is his best shot to get back at Pacquiao.
