NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pennsylvania – Englishman Justin Rose sank a two-foot putt at the final hole to secure a one-stroke victory at the AT&T National on Sunday.
Rose nearly squandered a four-shot lead during the final round, but hung on down the stretch, parring the final seven holes at difficult Aronimink.
He carded 70 to finish at 10-under-par 270, with fast-finishing American Ryan Moore (65) in second place on nine-under.
It is Rose's second victory in three weeks on the US PGA Tour. His rewards include a late exemption into next week's British Open at St Andrews.
