Glenn Donaire, the elder brother of IBF flyweight champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire, has revenge on his mind when he battles IBF light flyweight champion Ulises "Archie" Solis for the title in Sonora, Mexico on Saturday.

In an overseas telephone conversation with Viva Sports, Donaire said he wants to avenge the TKO defeats inflicted by Solis (26-1-2, 20 KOs) on countrymen Rodel Mayol (8th round TKO) and Bert Batawang (9th round TKO) last year.

Donaire (17-3-1, 9 KOs) said, "I’m looking for a knockout. I really want to win."

Donaire said he had spoken to Mayol about his loss to Solis.

According to Mayol, he got tired early because his preparation for the fight was lacking.

There won't be a similar problem with Donaire since he has trained well and used brother Nonito, who duplicated the style of Solis as a sparring partner. Besides, Donaire said his brother is much faster than Solis. He said he is ready to go 12 rounds if he has to.

Donaire said he is "feeling great, relaxed and doesn’t feel tense at all." He added that has no problems with the weight.

Donaire wants to create history by joining brother Nonito in becoming the first brothers from the Philippines to hold two world titles simultaneously. Although Gerry Penalosa and elder brother Dodie Boy Penalosa were both world champions, they didn’t hold titles simultaneously.

Nonito himself earlier expressed confidence that his brother would win the world title saying he is "ready to make things happen." Despite his record of 20 knockouts in 26 wins, Nonito claimed that Solis "is not tough."

The world champion added that Solis "doesn’t want to get hit because every time he gets hit, he gets rocked." Nonito believes that Solis wouldn’t be able to take his brother's best shots.
