Manny Pacquiao condoles with Dolphy's family
MANILA, Philippines - Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao sent his condolences to the family of King of Comedy Dolphy.
Pacquiao and wife, Jinkee, arrived in Manila Friday via PR flight 103 from their US trip.
"Condolence at pag-pray natin," Pacquiao said.
He also joined the clamor to award Dolphy the National Artist award.
"Pabor naman ako doon at karapat dapat siya tumanggap ng ganoong award," he said.
On Tuesday night, Dolphy died due to multiple organ failure brought by pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Pacquiao is scheduled to attend the anniversary of Malungon, one of the municipalities in Sarangani.
