MANILA, Philippines - The Filipino fans at the SMART Araneta Coliseum truly got their money's worth as they not only saw NBA stars in a close game with the Smart Gilas Pilipinas National Team, but were also treated to a sighting of pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Indeed, the Pacman nearly stole the show, even the NBA players were star struck with the Filipino boxing icon.

During a timeout in the 3rd period, Kobe Bryant approached Pacquiao and the 2 Nike endorsers had a short conversation.

"Matagal na naman kaming magkakilala ni Kobe," Pacquiao said.

Pacquiao then went to the NBA stars' bench, where he also spoke for a few moments with Laker captain Derek Fisher.

Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets even tried to challenge the Pacman to a sparring session, but the Hornets point guard admitted that he will only last "15 seconds" against the boxing champion.

After the game, the NBA players were seen asking Pacquiao for his autograph, and all the players had their pictures taken with him.

Later, the visitors posted their pictures with Pacquiao on Twitter, with Paul's brother, CJ Paul, saying that Pacquiao was the "man with the fastest hands."

Derrick Williams, who earlier tweeted that he wanted to see Pacquiao, also posted a picture of himself and James Harden with the Filipino fighting congressman.

WOW talaga si Manny

Mga NBA all-stars pa ang makikiusap magpa-autograph at magpa-picture... dami na namang inggit niyan, lalo na mga taga-Forbes Park...
