NCAA Division 1 school eyes Kobe Paras
MANILA, Philippines -- Kobe Paras, son of former PBA star Benjie Paras, is reportedly being recruited by NCAA Division 1 team, University of California (UC) Irvine.
Basketball scout Neal Nieves said the UC Irvine Anteaters have already made efforts to get the 6'6" player, who currently plays for the Catheral College in Los Angeles.
UC Irvine offered 2016 6-foot-6 Wing Kobe Paras out of Cathedral HS (CA) today according to a source.

Although the 16-year-old has yet to begin his next academic year as a high school student in Cathedral College, he already began churning out impressive performances in basketball tourneys.
Last June, he scored 22 points, including three 3-point shots, for Cathedral College in the DeMar DeRozan tournament.
Despite Cathedral's loss, 50-57, to Long Beach Poly, Paras was able to impress the LA crowd.
