UE would lead 18-14 after the first, but the Tamaraws quickly overhauled the deficit in the first four minutes of the second period, wherein they outscored the Warriors 10-0.

The Tamaraws would go on to outscore the Warriors, 28-11, in the second quarter, giving them complete control of the ball game.

The Warriors made a brief run in the third quarter to cut the lead to 13, 57-44, but the Tamaraws responded with four straight points courtesy of Arvie Bringas. FEU would go on to lead by as much as 27 points, 84-77, late in the fourth period.
