MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – B-Meg Derby Ace steamrolled Rain or Shine in Game 6, 97-81, to force a do-or-die in their PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-7 title series.

The Llamados' win leveled the series at 3-3 and forced the Elasto Painters to a Game 7 decider.

James Yap scored a game high 20 points, while Marqus Blakely added 19 and led all rebounders with 15, According to PBA.ph.

PJ Simon, B-Meg’s biggest hero in the game, scored 16 points on 6-of-15 field goal shooting despite the Painters’ rugged play.

“Minsan nangyayari talaga na struggle pero wag kang gumive up at may pag-asa. Laban ng laban, continue lang ang pagiging aggressive ko sa game,” Simon said about their fightback from a 3-1 series deficit.

B-Meg led by as much as 20 points in the fourth quarter en route to the win.

Llamados coach Tim Cone said the series is far from over.

"We haven't done anything," said Cone. "All we did was tie the series and I'm happy about that. But if we win this game and lose on Sunday we might as well have lost tonight. It didn't mean anything to either team. The big one's on Sunday."

Rain or Shine’s Jamelle Cornley had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ty Tang had 13 points while Gabe Norwood scored 12.

Elasto Painters coach Yeng Guiao shrugged off the loss.

"I think the advantage of going up 3-1, you can lose two and make adjustments. That was the luxury we have and we intend to make full use of it. So we have to go back to practice, make some adjustments," he said.

On Sunday's Game 7, the Llamados will try to complete the turn around from a 3-1 series deficit to duplicate Barangay Ginebra's feat in 1991 against Shell.

“Sa Game 7, parang 50-50 pa rin, hopefully magamit namin 'yung experience namin,’ said Simon.
