Eagles coach Reid's son found dead
ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania - Garrett Reid, the son of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid, was found dead Sunday in a dorm room at Lehigh University.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made the announcement Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old was found dead in his dormitory room by campus police. Police are still investigating the cause of death.
The Eagles held a practice Sunday morning but Andy Reid wasn't present. The players gathered for a team prayer and were told not to speak to reporters.
Garrett Reid was helping the team out by working with the players on strength and conditioning.
He had a troubled past once admitting he was a drug dealer and spending time in jail following a car smash.
The funeral will be held Tuesday.
