Pacquiao cracks Sports Illustrated's 'Fittest 50'
MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has made it to Sports Illustrated’s “Fittest 50,” which lists the strongest and most athletic sports personalities today.
The magazine used a 40-point rating system to assess the athletes based on strength, speed, endurance and agility.
Pacquiao was ranked No. 39 in the Top 50, garnering 6.5 points for speed, 5 for strength, 6.5 for agility and 6 for endurance for a total of 24 points.
Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James topped the list with a perfect score of 40 points, while fellow NBA players Dwight Howard, Ray Allen and Blake Griffin were ranked 36th, 30th and 14th, respectively.
Other athletes who made it into the list include strong man Rich Froning (No. 32), tennis superstar Roger Federer (No. 31), UFC fighters George St. Pierre (No. 25) and Jon Jones (No. 9) and Pacquiao’s rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. (No. 4).
