Adamson's Nuyles out for the season
MANILA, Philippines - (UPDATED) Adamson University's swingman Alex Nuyles is out for the season after aggravating a shoulder injury in their previous game against the National University Bulldogs.
Nuyles made the Mythical Five in UAAP Season 74 after leading the Falcons to the Final Four, but has struggled after dealing with nagging injuries so far in Season 75.
In the first quarter of their 77-62 loss to the Bulldogs last Sunday, Nuyles collided with NU star Bobby Ray Parks and went down while holding his right wrist.
He was escorted to the locker room and was eventually shown with his arm in a sling. He did not return to the game.
"To those who are asking, I won't be able to play this season anymore," Nuyles tweeted Tuesday.
