Don King: 'Mayweather will KO Pacquiao'
MANILA, Philippines – Boxing promoter Don King thinks that 7-division world champion Manny Pacquiao will lose to Floyd Mayweather, Jr., even predicting that the Filipino boxing icon will go down by a knockout.
“I’m not looking to do a deal just for [the Pacquiao fight]. I’m looking for him to be with me and for Pacquiao to be part of it,” King told The London Times as quoted by Examiner.com and BoxingScene.com.
King is reportedly being eyed to be Mayweather’s new promoter.
“They are the two best pound-for-pound fighters in the world but Mayweather will knock Pacquiao out. Pacquiao has two chances: slim and none. And Slim just left town,” said King.

The legendary boxing promoter, who celebrated his 79th birthday on August 20, had more things to say about the much-requested Pacquiao-Mayweather match.
“I can generate more money for him than anyone else in the world. I can make the Pacquiao fight with Bob Arum in a blink of an eye,” he told Lem Satterfield of FanHouse.com.
King added that he and Mayweather will be talking again in the next few days.
Pacquiao and Mayweather were supposed to clash on November 13 but the latter reportedly missed the deadline to agree to fight.
Prior to the planned November 13 showdown, the superstar fighters were slated to fight on March 13 but their disagreement on the drug testing procedure hampered negotiations.
Pacquiao, the reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight king, will face Mexican Antonio Margarito on November 13 for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) junior middleweight title. – With reports from the London Times, Examiner.com, BoxingScene.com and FanHouse.com

Don King is just playing with Mayweather's ego
On the contrary, Don King is just enticing Mayweather to go in business with him. He's playing with Mayweather's ego. It doesn't matter to him if Mayweather wins or lose, what matters to him is the very large money the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout will generate.
